We were commissioned to build a contemporary fire surround and floating hearth for a contemporary designer Gas Fire. The customer needed a sharp
contemporary finish from materials that would ensure fire safety without detracting from the design. A solid limestone floating hearth was fitted to heavy duty custom built brackets and the chimney breast was built in our joinery workshop from double skinned fire resistant materials, with thought given to ventilation and safety as well as design detail
