We removed the sand and cement pointing that had been applied prior to the 1970s and repointed the exterior of this 17th-century cottage in Luckington using traditional lime mortar. Inside the main living room, we carried out renovations and installed a reclaimed beam above the fireplace. The fireplace itself was also stripped of sand and cement pointing and fully repointed in lime mortar, ensuring the materials were appropriate to the age and character of the building.
